How to make another status with the same settings
On the screen where an export finishes, tap Make another like this. Pick the new photos or video and you land back on the setup screen with every setting from last time already in place. The same action is on the ⋮ menu of any Gallery card the app made.
Step by step
Make something once
Split a video, build a slideshow or collage, or type a text status, and press Create. The app remembers how it was set up from that moment.
Tap Make another like this
It sits at the foot of the screen your finished export appears on, next to the note about the outro. It is also on the ⋮ menu of every Gallery card the app made from settings you chose.
Pick today’s media
The usual photo or video picker opens. Text statuses skip this: they have no media to pick.
Check it, then Create
You land on the setup screen, not on an export. Everything is filled in and nothing has been made yet, so change whatever you want first.
Picking up where you left off
The other half of the same idea: if you set something up and left without exporting, the home screen offers Continue editing and takes you back into it with everything still in place. It only appears when the photos or video you had picked are still readable — the app checks before offering, rather than dropping you into a session with holes in it.
Questions about this
Does it change the status I already made?
No. It makes a new one. The saved file is untouched — that is the difference between this and Edit, which only text statuses get and which replaces the file in place.
Which settings come across?
Everything you chose that is not tied to the old media: clip length and split mode, the 9:16 crop, mute, the caption and its styling, the collage layout, the slideshow transition and motion, the per-photo duration, and every page of a text status with its own theme, font size and colour.
Why is my music gone?
A track is a file on your phone rather than a setting, and the app deliberately keeps no lasting claim on files you picked — that is what lets it work without asking for storage access. So a reused setup arrives without the track and tells you so; pick one again from the same Audio tab.
What happens to trim points on a longer or shorter video?
They are moved to fit. A split point past the end of the new video is dropped, trim handles are pulled inside it, and “the whole video” stays the whole video rather than becoming the old one’s length.
How far back does it remember?
The last twenty things you made, newest first, per flow. It is stored on the phone only and goes when the app does.
